Is it possible for sterling silver jewelry to look darker over time?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes (tarnishes) when exposed to air and moisture. You can easily restore its shine by gently rubbing it with a soft polishing cloth or using a mild soap and water solution.
How do I know my jewelry is authentic?
Look for hallmarks stamped on the metal: "316L" for Surgical Steel, "925" for Sterling Silver, "14K" or "18K" for Yellow or White Gold, and "PT950" for Platinum. These stamps indicate the purity of the metal and are a standard of quality in artisan jewelry.
How do you color your stainless steel jewelry?
Most of our colored stainless steel jewelry features PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating technology, which creates a durable coat to ensure a brilliant, long-lasting finish. PVD technology vacuum seals the coating of 18K Yellow Gold, 18K Rose Gold, Black, and Rainbow directly onto the steel. This produces a coating that is more corrosion and tarnish-resistant than electroplating.
Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
To provide the best quality possible to our customers, we source hypoallergenic metals which include a combination of 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel, 925 Sterling Silver, high-quality gold-filled pieces, and high-karat gold, such as 10K and 14K Yellow and White Gold.
While a small percentage of nickel is present in most types of metal, including fine gold and top-grade steel products, we've curated materials that are known to be safe and great for everyday wear.

We would love the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece for you! Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for processing time. Provide us your ideas and specifications concerning dimensions, colors, materials you are interested in, your budget, and the quantity you want to purchase and send to info@laperlademari.com for our review. How long will shipping take?
That depends on where you're located and which shipping option you choose. Most orders arrive within a week if you're located in the United States, barring severe weather or other conditions which may slow down shipment speed.
